Business Situation
There were challenges with the existing legacy applications in terms of flexibility, agility, scalability, data access, required skill, cost of maintenance, and reliability. So, Migration was required to move old mission critical legacy applications and adopt new technologies.
Resilience Solution
The scope of this project was to assess new technologies and migrate legacy applications accordingly to enhance the performance of the system. Such application-level migration can ensure functional up gradation, framework and environment related change through which an organization can benefit.
Resilience assessed the new technologies and adopted an iterative migration strategy to migrate the legacy applications with control. Resilience employed .Net 4.0 with WPF, MVVM layered architecture – modular with clearly defined interfaces and integration points which is scalable and maintainable. Such application-level migration enhanced the performance and functional upgradation of the system.
